Private full health insurance for foreign students, (DSH) language students, interns, doctorates
Care Student is the only private health insurance in Germany that is currently available as an alternative to public health insurance. Junior high school, senior high school and doctoral students, aged 12-35, can be insured for a maximum of 5 years on a long-term basis. The insurance contract includes not only the Krankenversicherung (health insurance), which is a part of the care college insurance, but also the Pflegpflichtversicherung (nursing care), which is a requirement for university registration in Germany, and which is available for a monthly premium of 86 euros!
Care Student is a 100% German health insurance policy for university registration and visa extensions. It is highly recommended for German university students or doctoral students over 30 years of age and is considered to be the equivalent of a German public health insurance policy.

Care Student is the only private student health insurance in Germany that is currently equivalent to the German public student health insurance.Care Student is called a private student health insurance all-risk insurance because its coverage is greater than or equal to that of the public medical student insurance. The insurance offers a wide range of services, including hospitalisation, surgery, medicines, emergency care, dental care, and more.
Premium Discount
With the lowest premiums, Care Student insurance starts at just 69 euros per month, which is at least half the price of public student health insurance in Germany. Students over the age of 30 or doctoral students are even better off than the public health insurance. The maximum amount you can pay out of your own pocket for hospitalisation is €300 per year, regardless of how much you have to pay, and the excess is reimbursed at 100%.
