Care Europe insurance premiums are divided into 2 bands, for insured persons under 69 years old and for those who have reached the age of 70. If you are younger, the premiums are naturally cheaper. The premiums vary slightly depending on the duration of the insurance, i.e. the longer the insurance period, the higher the risk, and the higher the premiums. We recommend Care Europe because it is a product of a German insurance company and its insurance coverage and claims procedure are in full compliance with German insurance law. At the claims stage, Care Europe customers are treated in the same way as Germans, with fast claims processing and simple reimbursement.
In addition, it should be noted that unlike other travel insurance policies in Germany, such as Mawista, which may appear to be a little cheaper, Care Europe has a high level of co-payments, ranging from €100 to €500 for each visit to the doctor or hospital.
Care Europe has no excesses and reimburses 100% of the cost of any medical treatment or hospitalisation!
With Care Europe Schengen travel insurance, there is no limit to the amount of medical insurance benefits that can be paid! This means that in the event of an accident requiring ambulance service, e.g. helicopter transport or a prolonged stay in an ICU, the insurance can cover very high claims.
Ideal for visa applications, short-term stays, and peace of mind during your travels in Germany and the Schengen Area.

*Premiums are ultimately calculated on the basis of the actual time of use. Example of calculation of the insurance cost: for 30 days of insurance and 65 years of age, it would be 19 euros.
If the insurance is taken out for 32 days, you will have to pay a premium of 37 euros, because the insurance period is greater than 31 and less than or equal to 45 days.
